The Contemporary Corset
$149 (half day class)
In this hands-on class, students will create a beautiful display cake using various molds, cutters, and other common cake decorator's tools. Wayne will share his easy method for creating this popular cinched-waist cake and students will take home a DVD demonstrating the process so they can refer to it over and over again! Although students will decorate their cakes in a romantic southern style, the shape of this cake lends itself to many decorating options.
Students will leave class with:
~completed dummy cake
~instructions and/or patterns
~dvd demonstrating how to carve the corset with cake
~the knowledge and materials to begin making this cake at home right away
All materials are included and tools are available for class use. Just bring yourself and be ready to have a good time!
